If I'm being completely honest with you, hospital photography sessions are hands down my absolute favorite. How could it not be? Just hours before, mom and dad were experiencing a moment so near to heaven that gratitude, humility, and joy are so present it is palpable. And now laying before me a glowing mother, an angelic new life, and (since we're being honest here) a nervous, yet proud father ready to protect these two with his life. It is a unique experience that I treasure. Welcome little sunshine.

I talked to this amazing couple for the first time last Thursday evening and photographed their inspiringly simple ceremony Saturday afternoon. The setting was sublime and the love apparent. "For the beauty of the earth, for the beauty of the skies, for the love which from our birth, over and around us lies. Lord of all to Thee we raise, this our hymn of grateful praise."
